Infant Stimulation
(Birth to 3 years old)

Being a parent can be overwhelming at times, especially if you are a first time parent or a parent that has concerns about your child’s development. If you have questions or concerns about the way your child plays, learns, speaks, acts, and or moves, get answers! Acting early can make a big difference in your child’s life. We can help by providing early play-based intervention for you and your child, to grow and learn together.

During these years, it’s time to remember how to be silly.

This means bring out your best monkey impersonations, wheels on the bus singing voice, and chase games. Also, at the top of the list is peek-a-boo, tickles and dancing.  Not only does this type of play result in smiles and giggles, but there are many unseen benefits. An activity as simple as stacking and knocking over blocks, can teach early math and science concepts; weight, balance, gravity, language and much more. Our specialists can guide you and your child in purposeful play activities designed to build on your child’s interest and increase their overall development, through our innovative and fun infant stimulation sessions.

This service can be provided to you and your child at no cost or a low annual fee. Follow the link below to find out how to apply for services through Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center.
